Being a Rat in Race to Realty - Padma's story of Rediscovery

Padma, a 34-year-old corporate worker, found herself staring at her desk on a dreary Monday.

Despite the whirlwind of tasks, something felt missing.

Years of chasing

๐Ÿ‘ปpromotions

๐Ÿ‘ป praises

๐Ÿ‘ปMoney

had buried her true happiness under pressure & expectations.

Fed up with this empty feeling, Padma grabbed her journal and started writing. She uncovered old memories of both good & bad and realized how society’s idea of success had clouded her vision. She had been tying her worth to external approval—until now.

Determined to make a change, Padma chose to redefine success on her own terms.

๐Ÿ‘‰ She learned to accept her flaws,

๐Ÿ‘‰ replacing doubts with affirmations.

Inspired by the books she read,

๐Ÿ‘‰ she opened up to friends,

๐Ÿ‘‰ finding strength even in vulnerability.

As she returned to old loves like Art, Dancing, Music and writing, Padma found joy creeping back into her life. A few months later, standing in front of a bright canvas, she realized her journey had turned her anxiety into a flourishing garden of possibilities.

Morals of Padma’s Journey:

  1. True happiness comes from within, not from outside approval.

  2. Taking a step back to reassess is okay.

  3. Vulnerability also helps create powerful connections.

  4. Being your true self opens the door to joy.

  5. Irrational Beliefs: We sometimes hold onto beliefs that make us unhappy, such as the notion that we must be perfect, rich, or powerful to be happy. Challenging these beliefs can help us feel better.
