"Arvi! The world is full of adventure, treasure, and excitement! Let's go, find fortune in freedom!"
Thor’s enthusiasm was hard to resist, but Arvi paused. He had always lived a simple life, caring for the orchard he loved. Still, the idea of leaving his comfort behind & chasing something greater pulled him.
They travelled deep into the wilderness, but after a few days, Arvi started to lose his sense of calm. The land became rough, with sharp rocks and tall, dark pine trees. The wind whistled through the branches, and the cold made the journey even harder. Long shadows made Arvi doubt himself. One night, as they sat by a quiet river, Arvi felt a sense of peace return. The sound of the water helped him think clearly.
He turned to Thor. Arvi closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, letting the cool night air fill his lungs. The sound of the river helped him focus on the present. After a moment of quiet, he opened his eyes and said, “True treasure isn’t found in gold or riches. It’s in peace... in staying grounded despite the chaos around us.”
Thor’s expression changed, and for the first time, he understood.
They went home without any treasure, but with a new understanding: the most fabulous riches are inside us. On their way back, they stopped by a quiet pond. Thor picked up a small, smooth stone and skipped it across the water. The ripples showed the peace they had found. It was a calm moment that showed how they had changed. We see real balance when we listen to our hearts, even when the world is noisy.
Moral:
"We lose our inner balance when we allow others -be it situations or people to control our minds. In doing so, we surrender our ability to think clearly, judge wisely, and make decisions grounded in what is right. "
In a world that tries to distract us in every direction, the best thing we can do is stay true to ourselves. Inner peace is the greatest treasure.
