He didn’t answer. Instead, he placed an empty wooden box in her palms. “This is what you don’t know.”
Mira stared at it, tears burning in her eyes. “It’s nothing.”
“No,” he said softly. “It’s space. Confusion hurts only when you believe you should already be full. But emptiness is not failure it is an invitation.”
Something cracked inside her. Not broken, opened.
That night, she wrote one question: “What am I afraid to learn?” The next morning, she wrote another. Slowly, the box became a home for questions, not shame. Each unknown became a door. Each door became a step.
Years later, a young girl came to Mira, trembling with the same tears. Mira placed the box in her hands.
“It feels empty,” the girl said.
Mira smiled. “That’s where growth begins.”

Recognising what you lack turns confusion into curiosity, and every honest question becomes a path toward who you are becoming.
