“Master, how will I know I am making progress?”
The master looked at a tree, watching its branches stretch quietly up toward the sky.“Do you hear it growing?” he asked. The student listened, hearing only the wind and the beating of his own heart.“No, Master.”The master smiled gently, his eyes showing the patience that comes from many years.“And yet, every spring, the tree bursts into blossom.”
We often want to measure every step and find proof that we are changing. But real growth happens quietly, often without us noticing. Rest when you need to, and move forward when you are ready. The path takes its own time and is never too fast or too slow.
Roots deepen in darkness,
petals wait without counting the days,
and when spring comes, it comes all at once. 🌿
Moral:
Psychological growth, like the cycles of nature, is often hard to see from day to day. Progress does not always show up as clear milestones, but as quiet strength growing inside you. Trust the process, be kind to yourself, and remember that real change often appears only after time has passed, just as trees bloom after long, quiet seasons of hidden growth.
