The Kite and the Gentle Hand

A young boy named Amir loved flying kites. Every weekend, he joined his grandfather in the open fields, learning to guide colourful kites high in the sky. 

One windy afternoon, Amir became impatient. He wanted his kite to soar higher than anyone else's. Ignoring his grandfather's advice to be gentle and steady, Amir pulled the string too hard. Suddenly, the string snapped, and his beloved kite drifted away, lost among the clouds. 

Amir felt tears sting his eyes.

His grandfather put a comforting hand on his shoulder and said, "Sometimes, in our rush to reach new heights, we forget the importance of patience and care. It is not always the strongest pull that brings success, but the steady hand and thoughtful heart."

From that day, Amir approached kite flying differently. He took his time, listened, and learned. His kites flew higher and longer, and he cherished each moment with his grandfather.
